Circadian Rhythm Definition: Circadian rhythm can be defined as inherent cyclical and persistent patterns that recur more than a period of roughly 24 hours. This word is derived from Latin words ‘circa’ and ‘dies’ which respectively mean ‘approximately’ and ‘day’. The study of these is known as ‘Chronobiology’.
